I used a 9.75 GHz satellite LNB from Europe and an RTL-SDR to get a 618 MHz downconversion from a 10.368 GHz DRO test oscillator.
I got some ideas from G4JNT: http://www.g4jnt.com/PLL_LNB_Tests.pdf
Nice peak at 618 MHz on the RTL-SDR with GSDR on the Mac.
10.368 GHz DRO with attenuator
It says 10.360 but it seems like it was 10.368 GHz.
LNB hooked to DC Block for output to RTL-SDR, and straight to power supply. There are two F connectors, so I didn't put in an RF choke on the PS and it worked anyway.
Power supply 12.17VDC |
