HB9TNW
I heard HB9TNW calling CQ DX on 14.031.75 and gave an answer. He heard me at 15W from my K2 to the SteppIR 3el pointed 35 and gave me 449 and I sent 559. There was QSB but not deep and at one point he was S5 houg usually S1. Celson was in St. Gallen, Switzerland and running OM100 watts to a beam up 20m.

Miniscope MS-215 and COSMAC Elf 2000
COSMAC Elf and MS-215
Together again for the first time! I hooked my NLS MS-215 up to my COSMAC Elf 2000 and ran the program
0000 SEQ
0001 REQ
0002 JMP 0000
and looked at the asymmetry of the waveform. Then I changed it to
0000 SEQ
0001 REQ
0002 SEQ
0003 REQ
...
0040 JMP 0000
and got a nice symmetrical one with a period of about 0.8uS (1.25 Mhz).

NL7G
I realigned my KX1 after checking L2 according to some recent postings on the Elecraft list. With 14V I get 3.5W on 20M and 2.5W on 40m. A recent post shows this produces acceptable harmonics. I ran on a 12v battery with my SteppIR 40m dipole and got NL7G Mike near Kenai, AK on 7023 but LA5HE DX was calling and he said 73. Mike was running 1KW to a vertical. So I guess the KX1 still works.
