I turned on the K2 around 0300Z and heard 8P6JD Rod in QTH:Barbados ending a QSO on 14.038. I called Rod after he finished the next QSO. He didn't hear me at 5W and at 10W I got a QRZ, but at 15W I got WA5ZN?. We had a short QSO (our second if memory serves me correctly -- I think he wasn't listed on QRZ.com last time). Rod said the band condx weren't bad from the Caribbean. Rod was 599 the whole time and gave me 559 QSB. We said 73 around 0321Z.
